Requirements to Join
We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and experience levels. No prior firefighting experience is required—we provide all necessary training.
Age Requirement
Must be 19 years of age or older (18 with parental consent for junior programs)
Valid Driver's License
Required to operate department vehicles and respond to emergencies
Physical Fitness
Able to perform physically demanding tasks; basic fitness assessment required
Background Check
Clean criminal record check (provided by the department)
Local Residency
Must live within reasonable response distance to the fire district
Training We Provide
We provide comprehensive, professional training at no cost to you. All personal protective equipment (PPE), certifications, and ongoing education are fully funded.
Initial Training Program
